The Market at Second Stage
We are open! In-person vendors are in the parking lot, and online orders continue with pickup by the garage at the rear of the lawn (enter from Washington Street). No need to even get out of your car.
Outdoor market and pickup time is every Thursday between 3:30–5:30 PM.
Some vendors are only offering online selections, so be sure to view the online order form as well as visit the vendor tables on Thursdays.
Peaches, plums, blueberries, blackberries, June apples, and melons are in. You can order online as well as pick up at the market. We also have several vendors picking tomatoes. Choose from several varieties of green beans, cucumbers, salad greens, and squash. Come out and pick up the freshest food in town. Or order online before some items run out.
We have a few more pounds of local ground beef from Lexington. Meat raised on small farms has a different taste than from factory farms. Try some this week and see if you agree. It is especially good with fresh tomatoes from the market.
We also have FRESH FROZEN chicken. Order online or buy from Courtney (green tent) at the market.
Remember to stay hydrated in this hot weather. If you start to feel lightheaded, let a vendor know immediately. We have cold water and ice at both ends of the market. Lewinna also makes fresh lemonade and sweet tea for sale.

Meet Your Farmer
Lewinna Burkholder, Merv and Brenda's daughter, has been known for her caramel popcorn. But with the heat lately, she has decided to branch out. Last week was her opening week for serving cold drinks. And what a success it was. She offers lemonade made with Real Lemon and fresh squeezed lemons. She also makes fresh sweet tea. Be sure to stop by her table for an ice cold drink on these hot days.
Not only does the Farmers' Market accept SNAP EBT cards, but we DOUBLE the amount swiped...$5 will get you $10, $10 will get you $20, etc. SNAP patrons should see Mary (Market Manager) at the front of the parking lot.
